Passed away suddenly, just as she wanted, being Doris right to the end, on July 2nd 2010 three weeks before her 102nd birthday. She lived in St. Leonards Street for many years before moving to Sir William Harpur House, and worked at Meltis then Ampthill Road School helping with lunches. Beloved grandma of Andrew & Lynda and great grandma of Rachael and Joshua. Doris, we were so lucky to have someone as wonderful as you for so long. We love you so much, and just can't imagine you not being there. Her funeral service will be held on Monday 26th July 2010, 2.30pm at Norse Road Crematorium, Bedford.
